Air India flight crashes on takeoff from Ahmedabad

Air India Flight 171, en route to London with 242 people on board, crashes shortly after takeoff in Meghani Nagar, a residential area just outside the Ahmedabad airport in western India. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which was 11 years old, went down minutes after departure.
