Voters think Democrats would be more likely to adapt

"If a policy supported by the [Democratic/Republican] Party was not working, which is more likely: party leaders would change their approach or party leaders would continue their approach?"

The Argument's survey of 1,549 registered voters, with 1,501 complete interviews and 48 partial interviews, was fielded nationally between Oct. 21 and 23, 2026. The above graphic shows the results among the likely electorate. The margin of error for the full survey is ±2.7%.
