Estimates are based on household hunger scores based on FEWS NET’s CATI food security surveys in Northern and Southern Gaza. Results are indicative, not representative. Survey sample sizes are indicated in the graph for each month and each region. Household hunger score categories: Phase 1 = no hunger in household; Phase 2 = little hunger in household (stress); Phase 3 = moderate to severe hunger in household (crisis); Phase 4: severe hunger in household (emergency); Phase 5 = very severe hunger in household (catastrophe).
