Data provided by the Defense Logistics Agency to McClatchy show that from fiscal years 1990 to 2019, the agency transferred around 14 million items worth a total of $7.3 billion. This includes weapons, weapon-parts, surveillance equipment and also office supplies. It also includes aircraft, helicopters, boats, armored vehicles and even observation towers.
