The Maareesan Route

Maareesan (2025) isn’t just a Tamil road comedy-thriller — it’s a plotted journey across Tamil Nadu. Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil slip into unusual roles for a darkly comic trip from Nagercoil to Tiruvannamalai, with every stop on the map reshaping their fates.

I love movies like Maareesan (2025) that take you through places while telling a story. To make better sense of its zig‑zagging geography, I mapped the route turning the film’s detours into a dataset you can actually trace.
