ICU beds: Bending the curve

Northwestern researchers also projected how many ICU beds would be occupied by COVID-19 patients if Illinois residents altered their behavior as much as they did in the spring. The Tribune found that, even if hospitals continued to treat just as many patients without COVID-19 as before, the state would likely have enough ICU beds under this scenario.
