For the ranking of the hospitals, Tamás Ferenci used the database obtained by Direkt36, the hospital ward type and patient flow data published by the National Health Insurance Fund Administration and the case-mix index also published by this authority. These were used to calculate the incidence density (the prevalence of infections) of each hospital, which can be used to show the ranking of hospitals. The ranking is based on hospital infection data from 2015-2016.
