Philadelphia’s Widening Income Gap

According to inflation-adjusted census estimates from 10 years ago, $87,300 separated Fairhill, the city’s neighborhood with the lowest median household income, and Chestnut Hill, which had the highest. The most recent estimates show that the gap has widened to nearly $107,000.
