The proportion of European immigrants across all ‘white-collar’ occupations is similar to that of the native-born population, though there are significant internal differences. Thus, amongst EU nationals with PAR status, 51 per cent are employed in the three highest occupational categories, 9 percentage points above the figure for the native-born population (42 per cent), whilst this percentage falls to 17 per cent in the case of EU nationals with PBR status, well below that of the native-born population. Ten per cent of EU nationals with PAR status are directors and managers, a proportion that is double that of the native-born population.
