What does possession look like in regular season games versus playoffs?

Dots show average possession across all games in relevant season. Mostly, we drop ~3-4 percentage points in the playoffs (playing stronger teams on average). We go into these playoffs with the highest average possession in the last five years - even dropping 4pp would keep us above 50%
