COVID-19 Cases Among California Child Care Facilities Are Mostly Among Staff and Parents, Not Children

The state had recorded 1,365 COVID-19 cases linked to child care facilities as of July 22, of which 261 were among children. "Child care centers" operate in commercial properties. "Family child care homes," which tend to serve smaller groups of kids, are run by providers who live on-site.

Notes: "Other" captures unknown and any family members other than parent/guardian, staff and children in child care facilities.
