Zimbabwe Population Using the Internet (1997-2022)

The number of people on the internet in Zimbabwe has increased from 0.1% of the population in 1997 to 32.6% in 2022. However, less than 50% of the population uses the internet despite the increase.

There were 5.48 million internet users in Zimbabwe in January 2024. Zimbabwe’s internet penetration rate stood at 32.6% of the total population at the start of 2024, as per Datareportal.
