Some states boost Republican presence in the US House

District boundaries in North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan and Utah give Republicans more seats in the U.S. House from those states than they would have under the old Pennsylvania rules. The analysis also shows that Maryland has about one less Republican U.S. representative than it would otherwise.

Numbers average 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 U.S. House elections, and may not add up exactly due to rounding.
