COVID-19 Disrupted The Flu

Most years, flu cases start rising around October and peak around February. The 2019-2020 flu season was disrupted in March 2020 by COVID-19. The following season, 2020-2021, the U.S. had record low flu activity. Last year, cases started to rise but then Omicron hit — leading to an unusual early decrease and a second spring wave.
