Lack of employer plan access falls with education

Private-sector employees only (government and self-employed workers excluded, so the population matches the private-sector benchmark). “Other (NH)” race/ethnicity is excluded (smallest, most heterogeneous category); “NH” denotes non-Hispanic. For Black (NH) workers, the two lowest education groups have nearly identical lack rates (71.3% vs. 71.3%) rather than a clear step down; the smallest cells (Black (NH), less than high school; Asian (NH), less than high school) have unweighted n below 45, so treat those bars as noisier than the rest.
