Deaths linked to nitazenes by region since June 2023

Some 54 deaths have been linked to nitazenes via post-mortem toxicology results since June 1, 2023. The National Crime Agency said 40 more cases awaited further testing.

Data includes deaths recorded between June 1, 2023 and December 7, 2023. No deaths related to nitazenes via post-mortem toxicology results have been logged in North East England, Wales or Northern Ireland in this period
