ADHD and Learning Disability Diagnoses by Income Level and Race (U.S. Children)

Children living below the federal poverty level show higher rates of ADHD or learning disability diagnoses across all racial and ethnic groups compared to those in higher-income households.

Overall prevalence is higher among children in poverty (18.7%) compared to those at or above the federal poverty level (12.7%). Disparities persist across racial and ethnic groups.
