The Unemployment Gap Widens Further Between Workers and College Grads

The gap between the unemployment rate for all workers and that of recent graduates continues to rise. (To see a specific data point, tap or hover over that area of the chart.)

The New York Fed used seasonally adjusted numbers and three-month moving averages to compare the unemployment rates. The New York Fed defines 'all workers' as those ages 16 to 65 and 'recent college graduates' as those aged 22 to 27 with a bachelor's degree or higher.
