Polluting mowers, blowers, trimmers

Inefficient two-stroke engines burn gas and oil, emitting pollutants into the atmosphere. The first four columns of numbers represent emissions in tons for each county in 2020. The second three represent the equivalent pollution produced by cars that year. Catalytic converters remove VOCs from cars.

Columns: nitrogen oxides (Nox), volatile organic compounds (VOC), carbon dioxide (CO2), fine particulate matter (PM2.5); = cars is equal to the amount of pollutant emitted each year by that number of average cars.
