It is one of seven countries (along with the UK, Colombia, Japan, Australia, Chile and South Korea) where private spending is a greater share than public spending. On the far end is the UK, where only 25% is public spending and 72% is private. On the other end of the chart is the reverse trend. Seven countries (Denmark, Iceland, Austria, Finland, Luxembourg, Costa Rica, and Norway) have at least 85% public spending, with Norway at 92%. The rest of the countries fall in between.
