New daily cases of variants of P.1 variant by date of case

Each column represents the number of new cases of a variant of COVID-19 in Alberta on a given day. Dates correspond to when the case was reported. Identifying a case as a variant takes time after that.

Dates correspond to the date a specimen was identified as positive (not the day the swab was taken). It takes additional time for a specimen to be screened for variants, so recent days are typically an undercount.
