The Iraq-Iran border running roughly north-south, with four Iranian provinces on the eastern side — West Azerbaijan (capital Urmia), Kurdistan (capital Sanandaj), Kermanshah, and Ilam — these are where the fighting would happen -- if it happens. On the western/Iraqi side, show Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and the Qandil Mountains as the staging areas where Kurdish groups are based. Also show Ankara/Turkey to the north, but only if it fits.
