Diesel price changes -- Sept. 16, 2024-Sept. 14, 2026

Since falling to a post-Iran conflict low of $4.58 during the week ending July 6, diesel prices have surged over the next two-plus months to never-before-seen highs. The $6.29 national average during the week ending Sept. 14 is the first time diesel's average surpassed $6/gal. at the national level.
