Deaths of Health Care Workers Peaked Later in South and West

Nationwide, deaths from the coronavirus peaked in April. Hot spot states like Arizona, California, Florida and Texas saw significant spikes in July, but they were not as explosive as earlier spikes in New York and New Jersey.
