South Sudan still maintained the lowest BLL number for children in comparison with the selected countries as of 2020 because it had the lowest industrialization and the few numbers of years of oil production.
The oil producing countries such as Sudan, Nigeria and DRC recorded the highest BLL as compared with South Sudan which still recorded the lowest BLL for children according to 2020 data by UNICEF.
