Data is based on a survey of 1,202 people in the United States. Data is weighted to the U.S. population.

High-deductible health plan (HDHP) was defined as "deductible is over $1,400 for an individual or $2,800 for a family." Satisfaction was asked as a range of 1 to 5, with 1 being "very unsatisfied" and 5 being "very satisfied." Participants who were unsure of whether they had an HDHP were excluded from this visualization.
