Commodore performance by halves

The Commodores had an explosion of offensive production in the second half, totaling 490 yards of total offense and 44 points in their win over the Hokies.

In the first half, Virginia Tech dominated with 227 yards and 20 points compared to Vanderbilt’s 169 yards and 10 points. But the second half was a total reversal: Vanderbilt exploded for 321 yards and 34 unanswered points, while Virginia Tech managed only 21 yards and no scoring. The shift highlights Vanderbilt’s huge second-half adjustments and Virginia Tech’s total collapse on both sides of the ball.
