Change in TMC's district-wise vote share between 2021 and 2016 shows a strong positive correlation to share of Muslim population

Note: TMC did not make a formal alliance in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Kurseong ACs in Darjeeling district. Elections were postponed in Samserganj and Jangipur ACs in Murshidabad district. These ACs have been excluded from analysis.
