Functional allocations as a share of GDP

Health and education allocations are 1.23% and 1.50% of GDP in Egypt’s FY2026/27 draft, 2.83% and 3.39% in Jordan’s enacted 2026 budget, and 2.33% and 6.39% in Morocco’s enacted 2026 budget. Egypt’s gross total includes EGP2.895bn of recorded interest; excluding it leaves 2.719% of GDP. Budget boundaries differ.
