Amtrak Virginia ridership over a decade

Passenger rail has increased with state-supported efforts that are anticipated to boost numbers even more once projects are completed. Ridership through September 2023 was 971,655.

This ridership chart does not include Amtrak Long Distance service that passes through Virginia.  This chart also does not include Virginia Railway Express ridership.
