In all of the counties that we examined, evictions disproportionately affected renters in majority nonwhite neighborhoods. For example, in Hillsborough County, Florida, only 16% of rental properties were located in majority Black and Hispanic neighborhoods yet 27% of evictions occurred in these neighborhoods.
