Americans generally oppose anti-government violence

In a variety of scenarios of government actions across the political spectrum, less than half of Americans polled supported political violence against the government – except if the government "committed unlawful violence against its citizens" or "violated or took away citizens' rights and freedoms." And even then, barely half of respondents said violence was the answer.
