Reports of income loss high among Latinos, low-income Americans

An AP-NORC poll finds 61% of Latinos are significantly more likely to say they have lost income as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, compared with fewer white and black Americans. About half of low-income Americans also say they have lost income amid the pandemic.

Results based on interviews with 1,057 U.S. adults conducted April 16-20. The margin of error is ±4.0 percentage points for the full sample.
