Daily testing numbers by CDC, state, and commercial labs since federal restrictions were lifted on testing. No reliable data exists for tests by in-house hospital labs, but they are thought to be a small percentage of the total.
Commercial labs include ARUP, BioReference Laboratories, LabCorp, Mayo Clinic Laboratories, Quest Diagnostics, and Sonic Healthcare. The first commercial tests went live on March 5, but the ACLA only started reporting daily numbers on March 16. There were 27,000 tests completed between March 5 and March 16. CDC test numbers are barely visible. They started testing on Jan. 18 and have completed approximately 2% of all tests to date.
