Detention population falls below 1,000 at Tacoma's NW ICE Processing Center

U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene visited the Tacoma facility on April 3, and was told 919 people were being held there that day. Counts obtained by Deportation Data Project through FOIA requests also show a steady decline in the number of people held between June 2025 and March 10, 2026.
