Floridians' Knowledge of PFAS-Related Health Conditions
What health conditions do you believe have been scientifically connected with PFAS exposure?
A horizontal bar chart titled “Floridians' Knowledge of PFAS-Related Health Conditions” shows responses from the 2025 Drugwatch Florida PFAS Survey. When asked which health conditions they believe are scientifically linked to PFAS exposure, 50.2% of respondents chose kidney cancer, 48.4% selected liver cancer, and 32.1% mentioned testicular cancer. Other responses included lower birth weight (26.1%), ulcerative colitis (24.1%), higher cholesterol (16.1%), and worsened response to vaccines (14.8%). Meanwhile, 10.1% believe PFAS exposure is not tied to any health conditions, and 26% selected “none of the above.” The data suggests that while many Floridians are aware of cancer risks, fewer recognize PFAS connections to other health issues.
