Events

The sports commission has several Legacy Clients that host annual events as part of three- to five-year contracts. These projections are based on the actual attendance from the previous year’s events. All events are held at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Two volleyball tournaments — the World Challenge and the Under Armour Bluegrass Tournament — also are played downtown at the Kentucky International Convention Center. Both locations are under the Kentucky Venues umbrella.
