The chart shows data breach and ransomware complaints reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center in 2025 involving one of the 16 critical infrastructure sectors. Critical infrastructure sectors are those whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital to the United States that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on national security, economic security, or public health and safety.
