For-profit borrowers fall behind at nearly as twice the rate as public and private nonprofit borrowers

Nearly 2 in 5 borrowers who attended Texas or Tarrant County for-profit schools were at least 90 days late.

Tarrant rates are weighted from institution-level borrower counts. They describe borrowers associated with schools in the county, and not county residents. Rates show borrowers at least 90 days late as of May 2026. Schools with fewer than 100 evaluated borrowers were excluded.
