NOTES: October 2025 unemployment data is missing due to a lapse in federal appropriations. The job openings rate is calculated by dividing the number of job openings by the sum of employment and job openings. The unemployed persons per job opening ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of unemployed persons by the total number of job openings in a given month.
