U.S. border apprehensions of migrants from Mexico and other countries
The number of Mexicans apprehended at the southwest U.S. border has significantly declined since 2000. The number of non-Mexican migrants apprehended, primarily from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, has increased.
