Where grad students say they don't want to live

This map shows the share of surveyed students who said they were unwilling to move to each state, led by states in the Deep South and the Midwest. A little over 7% said they'd be unwilling to move outside of the U.S.

Results are based on a March survey of nearly 2,000 graduate students studying physics, chemistry, biology, psychology or sociology. About 22% of resopndents said there is no location they'd be unwilling to move to.
