Following a cut to its funding in 2013, the Community Hospital Integration Project Program has grown more slowly than in years prior.
This is a line chart, showing the growth in the CHIPP program between fiscal years 2001 and 2025. The program grew from about $90 million to $218 million from FY01 to FY12. It was cut in 2013, stayed flat for a year, and then began growing again, but less aggressively than in prior years. The program is now funded at $263 million.
