Cadmium detected in Swiss chocolates but within approved limits
Lindt and Nestlé (Cailler) products were also tested for cadmium.
Maximum limits set by the Swiss government: Chocolate with < 30% cocoa: 0.10 mg/kg; Chocolate with 30% - 50% cocoa: 0.3 mg/kg; Chocolate with 50% -70% cocoa: 0.8 mg/kg; Chocolate with ≥ 70% cocoa: 0.9 mg/kg
