Oklahoma earthquakes spiked in the mid 2010s

Oklahoma wasn't known for earthquakes before the fracking boom started around 2010. Restrictions on wastewater injection wells helped lower the annual number of earthquakes , but there are still more above magnitude 2.5 each year than in the early 2000s.
