Income limits for Medicaid are higher for pregnant people

The maximum annual household income to qualify for Medicaid in Missouri (MO HealthNet) is higher for pregnant women than other adults and varies based on household size. Pregnancy Medicaid continues through 60 days postpartum, at which point a person may no longer qualify. In an effort to address this issue, more than 30 states have extended Medicaid coverage for pregnant women from 60 days to 12 months, and Missouri may soon join them.
