Valley fever in California

More counties in California are seeing higher cases of Valley fever than in previous years.

This county map of California shows how Valley fever case counts in 2025 compared to case counts in 2023-2024. Notable increases occurred in Monterey (+166 cases), Ventura (+87.5), and Kern (+180). Only three counties showed decreases of more than 10 cases, while 15 counties showed increases of more than 10 cases.
