Job Growth Slips Again

Private employers added 99,000 jobs in August according to data from payroll provider ADP, the fewest since January 2021 and down from 111,000 in July. It was the fifth month in a row that job creation slowed. (To see a specific data point, tap or hover over that area of the chart.)
