How Alabama's incarcerated residents would vote

The Marshall Project surveyed 54,000 incarcerated people across the country to ask who they would vote for, if they were able. The survey also had questions about specific issues and about the candidates, along with approval ratings for President Joe Biden. This chart shows who the Alabama inmates who responded to the survey were most likely to vote for. The chart contains a poll that was done while Biden was the Democratic nominee, and a second poll that was distributed after Vice President Kamala Harris entered the race.
