Alberta’s reported venture capital, 2020–2025. Each year’s three largest deals totalled CAD 592.1 million in 2024 and CAD 234.5 million in 2025. Their CAD 357.6 million difference accounted for 76.1% of the overall CAD 469.7 million decline. Annual totals remain above the bars in CAD millions; segment labels show each group’s share of annual funding. The three largest deals represented 62.5% of funding in 2024 and 49.1% in 2025.
